Activity: Intro to iTunes

Gathering Podcasts and other audio

1. Download audio from these sites. 

To download a file (including images, audio or video), right-click on the file's name or icon and choose "Download linked file as..." , "Save link as..."  or "Save Target As..." If your mouse does not have right-click button, hold down the ctrl key while clicking on the file's name or icon then choose "Download linked file as..." , "Save link as..."  or "Save Target As..." 

2. Explore the iTunes Store for interesting podcasts. Once you find a good podcast, download a few episodes. If you really like a podcast, subscribe to it. 

3. Next search some of the sites below for educational podcasts that you could use in your classroom.

4. Now that you have some items in iTunes lets practice searching and creating playlists.

1. Create a podcast of your six-word memoir.

2. Upload your podcast to your GCast account. 

3. Subscribe to your podcast in iTunes.
