Introduction
An artifact refers to any object or process resulting from human activity, which represents things from the past. Artifacts are part of our history and they give us a better understanding of who we are. Artifacts can help us understand hidden parts of our history or show us an alternative way of looking at our past.
Overview Overview: For this class, teachers will bring family artifacts that hold some sort of hidden and unknown story. They will then create a multimedia project using free multimedia software.

Teachers will:
1. Use digital cameras to take pictures of their artifacts.
2. Export their picture artifacts into PhotoStory.
3. Learn how to use PhotoStory to organize and store pictures.
4. Create a lesson idea to use with their students
5. Create a rubric to assess the product that students will create.
