Known for it's large media collection, Discovery Streaming has many media resources that are highly applicable to the classroom curriculum.

Technology is a core curriculum area and does have it's own Instructional Planning Guides.

This is the district-adopted graphics program for elementary schools. The large icons and easy interface make it easy for young students to creative with a fair amount of visual freedom.
Learning.com http://learning.com
Learning.com is the technology curriculum resource. Students can learn how to use word processing software, graphic organizers, presentation software, and even video production. All 5th and 8th graders must also use Learning.com for the end of year Technology Assessment.

The younger student version of Inspiration, the graphic organizer software.
Comic Life http://austinit.pbwiki.com/zzcomiclife
A wonderful application for telling visual stories using a comic book format. Tons of freedom.
Using Templates http://austinit.pbwiki.com/zzofficeipg
Template or Stationery files can be placed on a network server so that multiple users can open the same file to be independently edited and saved as their own document. The greatness behind templates is that the user doesn't have to start from scratch to create a nice document.
