Picnik.com is a very useful web application used to manipulate photos. I practiced importing pictures from various image search engines and used Picnik to clean up, make adjustments, and add text to the photos. These photos can go easily into a visually impactful power point presentation that I can use to teach my Art students.  Picnik can also be used by students to manipulate photos creatively.
